There's something mysterious about seeing Medieval castle ruins maintaining watch over modern homes here in the Irish countryside.
This image, from my 2020 Magical Irish Countryside Collectors Wall Calendar, features the remains of Dangan Castle, built by the McMahon Clan in the 1500s, near the County Clare village of Ballynacally.
