Rosebay Willowherb in the County Clare Countryside

I’ve adored Rosebay Willowherb flowers (commonly called Fireweed) since my early days growing up in Alaska.

I love seeing it here along the Irish country roadsides, as it takes me back to the simple times of youth.

I captured these along the road between Lissycasey and Kildysart in County Clare several years ago.
