“Blissful Ignorance” – Las Vegas, Nevada – July 25, 2025

My image “Blissful Ignorance” was exhibited on the giant video marquee at the Paris Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip on Friday, July 25, 2026, along with 12 other artists.

This composite work merges a serene beach path I photographed on Inisheer, one of Ireland’s Aran Islands, with an aerial wave from the wild Atlantic Ocean — a surreal collision of calm and chaos.

The solitary figure at the cliff’s edge, seemingly unaware of the threat, reflects our collective denial in the face of the climate crisis.

This piece is part of my “Tides of Tomorrow” series, created to spotlight the escalating urgency of climate change and rising sea levels worldwide.
